I don't know if this would be an option but the early muzzleloader season is definitely the way to go for these GMU's, a lot less people and you will see a lot more animals. If she is open to shooting a doe both GMU's have pretty good odds on doe permits open during general firearm season. The terrrain is rolling and open and would be a little easier hunting than backpacking into a national forest.
